Rainbow Pride Flag - Traditional

The first rainbow flag was created by Gilbert Baker in 1978 and had 8 stripes. By 1979 is was down to 6. The pink was lost first, as they could not get the fabric needed. They then combined the turquoise and indigo were combined into blue, as they wanted to be able to split it into two sections, and 7 does not split evenly. That brought us to the now traditional 6 color flag.
