There are several lesbian pride flags. This is one of the most common. The original version (which we also carry) was created by Natalie McCray and is often referred to as the "Lipstick Lesbian Pride Flag." This sunburst version removes the lips to represent a larger group of lesbians. Some do not like this flag because McCray may have said some racist or transphobic things in the past. It is still a beautiful flag, and just because the creator is not perfect should not keep you from using the flag. Technically McCray is not the creator of this flag, she created the "Lipstick Lesbian" flag which is like this flag, but includes a lipstick kiss mark on the flag as well. It is unknown who took the lips off to make this version.
