The Gilbert Baker Rainbow Flag was originally designed as a Gay Pride Flag, but as the earliest widely adopted pride flag, it now represents the greater LGBTQIA+ community.
To fill this void this Men Loving Men / Gay Man Flag was adopted by some. While there is some controversy with it (as there is with many pride flags) it is a common flag to say you are a gay man.
What is the controversy? Well, there are 2 main complaints: It mimics the lesbian flag too closely and the colors have no meaning, no history. Gay men have a huge history, so this flag does not fully represent that history.
That said, it is the most common flags to represent men loving men.
