Super Queer Gear is a small scale print house and queer merchandise retailer housed out of the garage of owner Jaelyn. Printing includes screen printing, direct to film transfers, 3D printing, and zines. Jaelyn also enjoys experimenting with other crafts so you may see candles, polymer clay earrings, and other products in the store. Future expansions include in house direct to film printing, sublimation, larger format printing for paper, and potentially UV printing. Super Queer Gear is against the use of AI for art.
Jaelyn is a non-binary/Trans femme, queer, teacher, historian, and geek. She started Super Queer Gear as a way to express her queerness and support other queers, young and old.
Jaelyn is also a historian who creates zines and online articles in her many passions, but largely focused on queer history and bread.
Based in Portland, Oregon Super Queer Gear attends conventions and fairs around the Pacific Northwest. When she is not selling queer gear, Jae Lyn is writing histories, creating lesson plans, and teaching high school social studies classes.
Jae Lyn is supported by her wife, and adult child, who are often with her at events.
